Earl Farris

Pastor

Pastor Earl attended Southwestern Theological Seminary. He has pastored churches in Tennessee and Texas for a culmination of over 52 years. Our pastor is a faithful, servant of God. He has devoted mission work in Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Australia and Mexico. Pastor Earl also served in disaster relief from various regions. He has been an asset to Security First Baptist Church since joining us in 2022 as our interim pastor, to our full-time pastor. Pastor Earl would love to pray with you or answer any questions you may have.

Brenda Meade

Office Manager

Brenda is the office manager here at Security First Baptist Church. She retired from the University of Houston in 2017.  Brenda has been working part-time at the church since March 2019.  She has two children and 6 grandchildren, three boys and three girls. Brenda loves spending time with her family, in which four live here in Texas and two live in St. Louis, Missouri. In her spare time, she loves to read, go on walks and do some bicycle riding. Brenda is so thankful for everything that God has provided her with and is a big asset to the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Connection Group Coordinator

Connection Groups are age graded groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. The purpose is to connect with God through the study of God's word; connect with each other by establishing meaningful relationships; and seek relationships with others in our community who need a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Whether you're a lifelong believer or new to the faith, Connection Groups are for you. We believe that God's Word has the power to transform our lives and we're excited to embark on this journey together.

So, come join us for a time of fellowship, learning, and growth as we seek to honor God and make a difference in our communities.
